Meet Jacky Kuk. Jacky is a Financial Advisor based in Canada serving hundreds of clients in his firm, all while having a YouTube channel where he shares all kinds of financial tips. Jacky recently used one of my space synth tracks in one of his financial educational videos.

Jacky did a great job of using my music to help establish a specific mood of uncertainty and intrigue. Combining effective editing with music, narration, and visuals, his video is a great example of engaging your audience right away and inviting them to keep watching to resolve the uncertain mood that was just established.

Check out Jacky’s video below which features my track “The Endless Universe” at the start of the video:

I recently released some new royalty free stock music that I wanted to showcase in this post. We’ll be looking at 3 new diverse tracks today and as always, all are free to download and use. Feel free to use them in your next creative or commercial project.

Enjoy!

“When Cat and Mouse Speak”

I was inspired to try something different and create some light-hearted cartoon music. It’s a very simple track that I think will work well with a wide variety of videos.

“Our Endless Forest”

I was so happy to finally release this slow ambient piano music. This track works great as background music for short films and various YouTube videos.

I feel like this track took forever to release. I’ve been wanting to do a song like this for a while, and even when I finally got around to recording myself playing piano for 15 minutes, I held on to the audio for about a month until I finally got around to putting the finishing touches on it. It truly felt like an endless forest but I’m very happy with the final result.

Meet AS Photography. They are a Photography YouTube Channel creating tutorials and videos on photography basics, and they recently used one of my music intros for one of their videos.

Adding a short, memorable music intro to your video is a great way to engage your audience from the start and encourage them to keep watching.

Check out their photography tutorial video below which features my intro music at the start of their video:

Meet Floppitypenguin. They are a Twitch Streamer and YouTuber playing Indie title video games. Feel free to subscribe to them if you like their content! [Heads up from Content Creator: content intended for mature audiences ages 13+]

They recently used some of my songs (“Never Summer”, “Sunsets & Skyscrapers”) for a special milestone video to thank their community of fans. Inspiring upbeat background music (like the music they used) is great for complementing and enhancing the uplifting mood of a video. Their video is also a great example of editing two separate songs to play together seamlessly.

Check out their video below which features my music at around the 32:25 mark [as mentioned, some content in this video is intended for mature audiences ages 13+]:

(Also, special thanks to Floppitypenguin for the shout out in the vid!)

Meet Switch & Click. They are mechanical keyboard enthusiasts offering in depth mechanical keyboard reviews, discussions, and more. They recently used one of my drum and bass songs as part of their intro for a Top 10 video.

It’s always great to see talented content creators using my music in new and interesting ways. I made that vintage drum and bass song to create a cool mysterious mood, but it worked great with their keyboard footage!

Check out their video below which features my song “The Cool Sneaky Detective” at around the 1:23 mark:

I’m excited to release my latest royalty free song: “Sunsets in Summer”. While I created this song specifically for Stock Music Links, it could have very well have been a song I would’ve wrote for my own personal music.

This song really taps into my punk rock roots: blink-182, New Found Glory, The Starting Line – even the delay effects in the middle of the song have echoes (pun intended) of Angels & Airwaves. I kept it to two guitar parts max to really feel like you’re listening to a live punk rock band playing in your friend’s basement.

So enjoy this new track and I hope you can use it in your next video. Rock on!

Feedback and collaboration can be transformation for your creative work. Through collaboration I was able to turn one of my older songs into a ’90s retro pop rock track.

I recently had the pleasure of connecting with a YouTube Channel that became interested in using one of my songs for a future vid. They were looking for a retro upbeat ’90s type song and considered using one of my older songs called “Let’s Do This!” for their video.

Here’s how the original version of “Let’s Do This!” sounded:

The original version of “Let’s Do This!”

To be honest, I never considered that song to be ’90s sounding but their feedback made me see my own song in a new light. I started to reimagine “Let’s Do This!” as a ’90s song and with more feedback from this content creator, I created an extended version for them to use.

I embraced the retro feel and added more classic synths, mixed it to bring out the drums more to get that powerful old school rock sound, and then remastered the whole thing. They ended up using it for their video!

Here’s how the new extended and remastered version of “Let’s Do This!” sounds like:

The new extended and remastered version of “Let’s Do This!”

In fact, I loved this new version of “Let’s Do This!” so much, I replaced the older version with it. I would have never created this extended remastered version without their feedback.

Sometimes all it takes is a fresh set of eyes and ears to take a look at your art and give you valuable feedback that can take your work to exciting new directions.

So if you ever want to rediscover your art, try collaborating with others and getting their feedback. They may make valuable suggestions, help categorize your work, or encourage you to make a new version of your work that you may end up loving more than the original.

I know that’s what happened with me.

I originally set out to make an inspiring piano / guitar rock song but like with most things in my life, a few small changes here and there and this song went into a completely different direction.

But I love the final results! So enjoy this synth pop upbeat background music! (and yeah, the song title is a reference to Saved by the Bell)
